As Promised, Here is a great recipe for Simple Fried Chicken – Without the Oil!
This Chicken Dinner pairs wonderfully with our 7-UP biscuits!
I like to make Chicken Tenders, but you can also use bone-in chicken pcs. For drumsticks, the cook time is the same, but if you use larger pieces of chicken, you will need to increase the cook time accordingly.
What You Need:
3/4 lb chicken tenders, or 1 lb chicken drumsticks
2 lightly beaten eggs
1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, regular or panko
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cracked black pepper
1 – 2 Tbsp Oil (I use Olive Oil)
How to do it:
Preheat the AirFryer to 330°.
Put eggs, flour and breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
Add the oil to the breadcrumbs and mix well.
Dip the seasoned chicken in the flour, then eggs, then breadcrumb and oil mixture. Coat well and shake off excess crumbs.
Place them in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes at 330°, then increase temp to 390° and cook an additional 5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy to your liking!
